Bible Verse Of The Day Guest Book

My name is Barbara Lehrman. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married, and my husband Tony and I have six children and lots of grandchildren. I have been a believer since I was six years old. I pray that the Lord will use this site to be an encouragement to you. I hope that you will return daily because I change the verse every day.

Please feel free to share any comments you have with me. If you enter your e-mail address (not required), it will not be shown in the guestbook.

Don't hesitate to enter any prayer requests — lots of people read this page every day. You may also leave replies to existing comments by clicking on the small icon that looks like this that appears after the date and time of an entry:

Many have asked us to email the verse to them each day — please note that we do not email the verse. It is only available here online. Also please note that your entry will not 'automatically' appear when you click the submit button. We read all comments before placing them online in order to eliminate the nasty ones.

Unspoken prayer request.

I keep you in prayer. I actually thank you for reminding me to pray beyond my kitchen table. Sometimes my prayers are filled with requests, concerns, and praises from friends and acquaintances, I shall be more aware of taking them further.
Blessings

Dear Friend

God knows the very depths of our being and loves us as we are. Psalm 139 says "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.You know when I sit and when I rise;you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down;you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn,if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you; he night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you."

Praying for you, Jane

When God specifically says that he blots out our sins because he wants to, why do people still say that he needs the help of someone else, Jesus, 600 years later?

On Tue. (3-7-17) I attended a funeral for the mother of a friend of mine. The minister had with him the Bible of the mother and was reading from passages that she had marked and from the notes she had written in it. What a wonderful life she had according to her notes and she lived by the Bible and what it taught. NO words can explain the feeling "That to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord". I can't wait for that day!!!

I appreciate this site so much. I have been reading it for years now. I cannot tell you how many times I have been going through something or thinking about a particular thing and when I open up your site - there will be the perfect verse with with perfect commentary - and it encourages me or kicks me in the seat of the pants (whichever action applies to the current situation).
Today's verse was another one of those "epic" moments. I printed the page (as I do often to keep in my own bible study notes) because what you said so perfectly expressed what I was needing to understand from the verse. Thank you again for taking the time to do such a ministry as this. God bless you and yours.

Please pray for me. I know what the Lord has told me but I have no proof except the word of my mouth, and I am afraid because if my family does not believe me, how can the people I go to see today? But I trust the Lord and I have learned that His will is always better than anything I could dream, and I will sacrifice myself and my pride for His kingdom. Please pray for strength, for wisdom, for courage. And most importantly, please pray that His will shines through, that no matter where my heart is at, I will do as He tells me and that His words, not mine, will flow from my mouth. Please pray that he tempers me and fills me with patience. Thank you and God bless y'all.

The word is fruit and each day must begin with us taking a good chunk from it. Thank you for the refreshing verse and for sharing your love of Christ. For His glory, forever and ever.

A day without a verse from you makes for a bad day for all of us that enjoy what you do by sending them out. It makes me go to the book and chapter and read it completely from verse one to the last one.
Thank you again for doing this. God bless you richly.

Today's verse hit home with me. Especially today as I attended a memorial service for a good friend that is gone to soon but in pain no more. Thank you
